I’m glad to say I’ve finally had a chance to take a few pictures, and the latest additions have been added. It seems this semester, my final semester, is going to find me relatively busy, so I can’t guarentee any regularity to my postings, but I will do my best.
Hope all is well!

This site has gotten little attention, which is unacceptable. I’m planning to get some new content – always planning.
In working 38 hours a week, I’m finding myself with little time to do anything but eat, sleep, and work. However, I must say that I absolutely love the Maryville Help Desk and all those with whom I work.
Look forward to some illustrations, photography, and possibly a bit of literature.
Until next time,
Jen
Finals are over, leaving me exhausted. Work at Maryville has started as of today, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
I apologise for my absense. Eventually, I’ll come back, actually having materials to share.
Please disregard the current state of the website. I’m in the midst of creating a custom layout, and as we all know, you’ve got to break a few eggs.
Cheers!
… but not gone. A few hours ago it was 100.7°; now it’s down to 99.7°.
I made it through one class before it hit, and I shivered the entire way home. Even on my hot floor of the house, I couldn’t stop shaking. Fortunately I took some asprin for my headache, and I suspect that worked me down a bit. Not enough, though.
Sleep is calling, but I don’t want to. I keep sweating, and I feel like there’s sandpaper in my throat. Seriously, who came up with this flu thing anyway?
On a good note, I got to see John today, and he took wonderful care of me. Such a wonderful guy he is. Even sent me a V-Day e-card. Long cat loooongs for me. <3
Who knew St. Louis could get this much snow? 3-6″ estimated, but no one ever knows until it’s already come and gone.
In the midst of my cough and dizziness, I helped my father try to move the rear-wheel drive car out of the street. After quite a bit of turning this way and that, we finally managed to twist it the 90 degrees it needed to be parked. Then we cleared off the other car so he could haphazardly go out and buy my mother an almost-late Valentine’s Day gift. Strange, as he doesn’t like V-Day whatsoever.
It feels downright bloody hot in my house compared to outside, and my throat can barely take it. As long as I don’t let the coughing fits start, I’m mostly okay, but it’s still relatively miserable.
The good news is that my school was canceled today, so I didn’t have to worry about trying to drive in the snow. Not that I would have made it out the door, given my current state of wellbeing.
Stay warm, everyone, and take care of yourselves.

The last few days have found me feeling less than great. There’s been a round of the stomach virus hitting everyone in sight, and of course, it’s tackled my family all at once. And unfortunately, I can’t afford to take the time off to recuperate.
My flash drive has gone AWOL on me, so I’ve lost track of three classes worth of homework, all of which is due sometime next week. Hopefully it will show up at the help desk, but I’m not holding my breath.
My $15 lens adapter for my camera has also gone missing, causing me to spend the day tearing my house apart in hopes of finding it. This did lead to a great deal of cleaning, and consequently, trash-collecting. I’m left with stacks of CDs in need of homes and half-organized surfaces waiting to be finished. Somehow, I never seem to get the job all the way done.
I’m happy to see the setup coming along here, so much that I’m motivated to add new content to it. I’m planning on drafting up some tutorials, along with downloadable content. The first tutorials will be Photoshop and Dreamweaver, followed with some programming lessons. Requests are open to one and all.
I’m most looking forward to the custom theme for this site. Wish me luck, and hope for the best.

I’m really just messing with this for now, but hopefully I can extend it to do everything I want.
Cheers!
